ComixTribe

Picture
ComixTribe is a smaller Indie Comic Book Publishing brand that has caught my eye.   I originally heard of the Tribe because they are a local North Eastern group of creators.   I can remember reading my first ComixTribe book, The Red Ten, and being amazed at how good it was.   Now sometimes a smaller creator might have one really good book out and a few smaller titles that are just "Eh" so that their name stays out there.   This is not the case here.  Each book as continued to be a hit.   In 2014, ComixTribe ended up publishing what I consider to be the Book-of-the-Year in And Then Emily Was Gone.   Emily was one of those surprise hits.   When I picked up the first issue, it sat there in my "To Read" pile for about 3-4 weeks.  One day I picked it up to read and was completely blown away.  Great art and even better story.   The day the final issue (Issue 5) was published, I was excited to read it and a little sad that this was going to be the last issue.

I will be publishing more information on ComixTribe in the near future.   I highly recommend that you check them out if you can.
